Surfing

Goa is a place of fun and frolick. Beaches such as Baga, Calangute, Pololem, Dona Paula, Colva, Vagator, Miramar and Bogmolo are pleasant spots for surfing under the dazzling sun. These destinations are the ultimate choice for aqua sports.

Dona Paula bay is an ideal site to start wind surfing especially if you’re a beginner. The light breeze is perfect for amateurs and the stronger ones that set during the afternoons offer a challenge to the seasoned surfers. Surfing these days is gaining popularity among the tourists in Goa and so some surfing sports event such as Open Board Sailing Competition and Windsurfing Regatta that goes on for a week are organized to encourage this sport

Sailing

Sailing is for adventure lovers a passionate way to express their love for water; a pleasing activity that any sport or beach lover won’t mind trying out. Sailing is the best way to unwind. Staring out at the sea from a boat is the most relaxing thing you can do. You can hire dinghies from any of the hotels in Goa.

Water Skiing

If speed thrills you then water ski is a sport you just can’t miss. Imagine swooshing on the water surface and holding onto harnesses to control you. You can ride on a speed boat enter the sea and ski away on the blue tranquil waters. These boats hold 6-8 people and can be availed at beach resorts, hotels and water sports clubs.

Scuba Diving

Imagine diving to the shipwrecks belonging to the colonial period of the Portuguese. Imagine spotting mesmerizing marine life that is found in the underwater world of Goa.  A number of diving options are available in Goa. Most of the diving activities take place around the Grande Island and other sites like Suzy’s Wreck, Davy Jones Locker, Sail Roack, Turbo Tunnel, Surge City, Uma Guma Reef and Bounty Bay.

Some interesting low dive sites are in the waters of Vengurla and Malvan and its situated 2 hours away from Panaji. An interesting scuba diving site near Angria Bank, 120 miles away from Goa in a 4 hour high speed boat ride is a must-do if you’re an adventure lover. This island not only offers an amazing wealth of corals but also varieties of fishes to the divers. Pigeon Island is one more dive site near Goa that has fascinating aquatic life as well as first-rate visibility.

Dinghy Sailing

Due to favorable wind and weather conditions, the ship sailing is affectionately referred to as beer and sandwich sailing. The sail is smooth and can be enjoyed a lot. Instructors are available for beginners. For the less agile, Dinghy sailing is a better option. The ship has two sails and side decks where 3-4 people can sit and enjoy. The 15 feet long dinghies are available for hire at a few hotels.

Goa swimming

Being surrounded by beaches and indulging in the most obvious aqua sport swimming goes without saying. Goa lies on the warmest ocean in the world and that makes aqua sports absolutely enjoyable in this ocean. Swimming perhaps is the best way to pass time in Goa. Swimming is one of the cleanest and cheapest playgrounds available in this land of absolute heaven.

Other Water Sports

Water scootering is one more fun filled activity which can be indulged in at Dona Paula jetty, Cidade de Goa, Majorda, Oberoi, and Candolim beach. Parasailing is one sport which attracts high fliers amongst the speed lovers. The Taj and Oberoi provide the required tools needed for this activity.

Sports Betting Mlb for Profit

Posted in sports by admin on October 31, 2009 1 Comment

Sports betting can be both thrilling and lucrative.  However, for many players it is depressing and costly.  Did you lose by one point against the spread yet again?  Or, alternatively, did you bet the “under” and an additional point will painfully and mercilessly take you the into the abyss of a hard bet loss?  It is a shame isn’t it , you were winning 99% of the game but being close only counts in horseshoes and you might have lost some money there also.

Whether it is NFL betting , NBA , MLB  and yes NHL there is a vast array of choices and considerations for the discerning gambler. This is not to mention a variety of other sports that receive avid prognostication and investment.  The king of course being Horse Racing and betting “paramutuals” which is the granddaddy of sports betting but still does not compare to the popularity of NFL betting along with it’s little brother College Football .

If you are someone that is a sports enthusiast , sports gambler or even just a casual fan there is no doubt you have heard the touts of the “experts” selling their betting systems, selling their picks, and selling their wisdom. Have you wondered to yourself if this true ? Do they have a system that can make me so much money I can quit my job?

Bottomline is don’t quit your job just yet , but it is a fact that while the majority of sports betting systems and companies selling “picks” are making more money off of you than their net winnings.  There are legitimate sports prognosticators that have proven over time that they can back up their hype.  Typically there is no shortage of hype in this arena.

Bettors and wannabe bettors need to understand that unless they view their “book” or “bettting establishment”, whether it be overseas or over the bridge, as their favorite “charity” that they plan on perpetually donating in , they need a system that works.  The true gurus in the industry know that it takes years and years of studying trends and patterns to recognize how Vegas oddsmakers slowly but surely take your money over time. In many cases time may only be the length of a Major League Baseball season.  The daily ’sportsline” is littered with “traps” everyday for every sport including but not limited to even the Olympics.

Todays technology can run thousands of statistical analyses in the blink of an eye.  Only a sophisticted tool is able to interpret it .  This combined with a money management system over time makes it paramount that a bettor incorporate the apex of the two  because you would hate to go 5 and 1 on a Sunday but have little to show for it since your 1 loser was tied up in 3 losing parlays.

The proven experts have already invested the money in software and high tech probability studies spit out by neural networks . The smart bettor needs to simply seperate the “yellers” from the “players” .

If money is more imprtant to you than the pride of picking your own picks than it it is time you viewed sports betting as expected income you brag to your spouse about not expense you seem to always forget to mention to her.  Isn’t it time to make real money in the sports betting world?

When it comes to sports betting smart players seek the statistical edge provided at http://Sportsbet.BestChoiceOnline.com.

Posted in sports by admin on October 31, 2009 No Comments yet

Since the emergency and inception of the Nike shoe brands into the market, the Nike ID has really undergone a lot of metamorphosis and evolution to incorporate new technology.

Despite offering great and different types of colors and materials over the years it has been in the market, Nike now is customizing Nike Dunk shoe brands with blue tooth connectivity, ipods among others. The latest technology being tried is the option of laser etching. The Smith Optics company is now the first company to have their company logo laser etched in the mid-panel of the Nike ID Dunk high shoe brands.

Being an action sports gear manufacturing company Smith Optics has been coming up with the sports industry’s most technologically and advanced sports gear such as the snow and motor goggles, sunglasses and snow helmets. Incorporating this company into the Nike Family of sports shoes is a great advancement for the Nike Dunk ID. This will propel the Nike Dunk into the technological world.

Everything is geared and moving towards incorporating new technological advancement. Individuals are getting more tired of having to wrestle with their daily schedules while being accompanied with bulky music, communication and other personal entertainment gadgets. The new Nike dunk technological break through will make it easier for you to have all this gadgets just within you. These new laser etching technology machines that are currently being tested with the partnership with Smith Optics Company will soon be out and could possibly be among the next best technologies being delivered by Nike Dunk.

The other new technology that has been incorporated in the Nike Dunk Shoes is ways of getting Personal with your mobile phone. Although this was initially done by Adidas Sports Company when it formed a partnership with one of the world mobile company Samsung to come up with miCoach, the partnership dedicated the incorporation fitness freaks and the mobile connoisseurs. However Nike Dunk has gone a notch higher and now has come up with ways through which individuals can use their mobile phone’s camera in order to customize their Nike Dunk shoes, this technology has been referred to as PhotoiD.

This kind of technology advancement helps Mobile phone users to take pictures of their shoes with their mobile phone’s camera and then send the image as an MMS to Nike’s service. The company will then analyze and asses the sent images, select out the two main colors in the picture. While using their classic 1985 Nike Dunk high-top basketball shoes as the main design, they then incorporate the desired colors into the shoe.

After selecting out the desired image, Nike will in turn send the image of the customized shoe incorporating the desired colors back to the sender for preview. The benefit of this to the sender is that, he can use the image as wallpaper on his phone or the image can be the actual shoes the sender can order from his favorite sports shop.

The latest technology is currently the Nike PhotoiD which is being created by the digital agency AKQA. It is currently being launched in nine European states, the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Nike Dunk has also tied up business deals with Apple for their Nike + iPod system to come up with the iPod Nano.

How To Put Microsoft CRM Into Place In Your Business

Posted in Software by admin on October 31, 2009 No Comments yet

No matter how big or how small your firm is, Microsoft’s Dynamic CRM software is right for you and your customer relationship management, as long as you know how to get it integrated with your business. The technological integration in and of itself is easy, but you need a strategy that will work for you, too.

First off, step back a little define for yourself what CRM-customer relationship management-means for your business in particular. Get “deep” with thinking about how you interact with your clientele. In fact you might even want to write up and send a questionnaire to your client base, asking them how they feel about their business relationship with your organization. Ask your employees, too, about how they feel with regards to the client-worker relationships that they maintain. Use the information that you glean to put together a clear vision of CRM at your company. Once you have this, delineate the vital importance of CRM to your employees. Give your staff clearly defined objectives to be met by your business, so that they have something to work with in their minds. Additionally, communicate your expectations and the objectives that you want the new CRM program, including the Microsoft Dynamics CRM aspect, to meet. Make it abundantly clear to your employees just how important your new CRM initiative is to the growth and profitability of your business. The CRM initiative needs to be a high-profile vision within your company.

Next, consider that a successful implementation of Microsoft’s Dynamic CRM software will be able to define your company’s business processes. You need to select the right CRM platform to use, true; but then again that is only one piece of the puzzle. Focus on the overall vision, the entire process. Don’t let yourself get caught up in all of the specialized tools and modules that the software comes with. Don’t be the nail; be the hammer. The tool should not be driving your business; you and your employees should be doing that. What are the best ways that you have always been able to work with your clients? Keep to those ways and let the CRM technology enhance your efforts along those very same lines. And, don’t leave out any aspect or part of your business when it comes to implementation. Don’t give the CRM technology only to certain areas of your business. You want seamless integration and a holistic approach in order to make the initiative a success.
